Throwback: The Opening of Coresi Shopping Resort

I don’t know exactly why yesterday I remembered of another fashion show I took part in: the opening of the Coresi Shopping Resort.

Together with the other girls from the School of Art we had to make several outfits (two for each of us) out of unconventional materials, using the mall’s logo as inspiration. I chose paper as my material and after a lot of work, this is the result:

Nu știu exact de ce, ieri mi-am amintit de o altă prezentare de moda la care am participat: cea de la deschiderea mall-ului Coresi Shopping Resort.

Împreună cu celelalte fete de la Școala de Arte a trebuit să realizăm mai multe outfituri (două de fiecare, mai exact) din materiale neconvenționale, având ca sursă de inspirație logo-ul mall-ului.

Eu am ales hârtia și după câteva zeci de moriști colorate, acesta a fost rezultatul:

What disappointed me? One of the greatest malls in Romania and all we got for our work was a bag with some”nothings” (promotional stuff), a bag which was received by anyone who went to the mall that day.

However, excepting the fact that we worked for nothing, it was a great experience from which I definitely have something to learn.

Ce m-a nemulțumit? Un asemenea mall, atâta reclamă și tot ce am primit pentru munca depusă a fost o pungă cu câteva “nimicuri” (o cutie pentru alimente, o geantă pentru farduri al cărei fermoar s-a rupt imediat etc), pungă pe care oricum o primea oricine vizita mall-ul în acea zi.

Exceptând însă faptul că am lucrat pe nimic, a fost o experiență frumoasă din care, cu siguranță am avut ce învăța.
